Dr. Derek E. Pierce is originally from San Antonio, Texas.  After graduating from Texas A&M University-Commerce, Dr. Pierce began his career as an educator.  Dr. Pierce for twenty-three years has been a strong-pillar in providing an education to a variety students with varying abilities.  His work experience has expanded between PK3 - high school students and local education agencies.  Dr. Pierce continues to be a dedicated and committed educator to better educational reform and equity for all students.
